CHOOSING A WHOLE-HOUSE HUMIDIFIER

There are several options for selecting the right type of whole-house humidifier for your home. The four main choices of humidification systems are:

Bypass - these humidifiers use the warm air from your furnace to evaporate the moisture off of a damp pad which thereby introduces humidity into the airstream in your air ducts.

Steam Vaporizers - uses electricity to heat and boil water in a contained canister to create humidity in the form of steam which is then released into the airstream.
Ultrasonic - uses electronic transducers to vibrate water over a million times per second to create a very fine mist which is then introduced into the supply airstream.
